▼ How To Protect yourself

Educate yourself on how the virus spreads

  • Virus travels through respritory droplets from either talking, sneezing, or coughing.
    • Mainly spread from person-to-person within 6 feet close contact with another
    • People infected with COVID may not show symptoms
    • Touching objects infected with virus

Use a Face Covering:

  • When around others wear a face mask or covering
  • In public spaces, face coverings are advised
  • How to properly put on your face mask

Wash Your Hands:

  • Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds
  • Washing with soap and water is the best options, if not available, hand sanitzer that contains at least 60% alcohol should be used.
  • Wash Hands:
    • Before preparing or eating a meal
    • Before touching your face
    • After sneezing, coughing, or blowing your nose
    • After Touching a used face covering

Cleaning and Disinfecting:

  • All frequently used surfaces should be cleaned and disinfected regularly

  • Creating a rotating schedule to minimize physical contact within the workspace and to practice social distancing
  • Early implementation of masks in the work place.
  • Placement of sanitation resources in all department spaces.
